In (Luke 9:55-56); We see the disciples specifically James and John asking Jesus if He wants them to call fire down on the people like Elijah did! For this comment they were rebuked! Jesus told them you know not what matter of Spirit you are of!
See James and John had the same problem we face today! What problem is that you may ask? It's the issue of not understanding of what matter of Spirit we are of! See when the Holy Spirit hovered over your life and revealed Christ in you and your spirit man took it's first breath you once again were in right standing with the Father!
The issue at hand is not understanding the nature of our Father who is Spirit! For us to fully understand what matter of Spirit we are of then we must understand what are spirit is made of and who made it!
In (Genesis 2:7) God breathed the breath of life into man and he became a living being (Nephesh).
In (Job 32:8) it says this: But it is the spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that makes man understand. See it takes God to know God! So our spirit which is the breath of the Almighty gives us the ability to understand God Spirit to spirit!
In (Proverbs 20:27) it says; The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. Your spirit is a light of the Lord revealing the darkness and dispelling it by His presence and power. We have been given the mind of Christ! (I Cor. 2:16)
David said in (Psalm 77:6); I said, "Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart." Then my spirit made a diligent search.
David's spirit made a diligent search which means he was cooperating with the Holy Spirit in the process of maturity.
See the more we know our God then we will know that mercy triumphs over judgement! Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us! The earth its self is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. This will not happen though until we understand what matter of Spirit we are of!
